Grand Opening!

I realize I am skipping some valuable blog posts about the remodeling. But this is finally what we’ve all been waiting for! The grand opening is THIS Saturday from 3:00-9:00, there will be a cash bar and light appetizers. All are welcome to stop in and see the space. We are excited to share it live and in person.

For now, here are some quick photos of how it looks today. Better than we could have ever imagined!

Each of these photos have so much more to the story. There are so many people to thank! I want to take the time to thank each one, but at this late hour having been preparing all day I am afraid I will miss some of you who are all so dear to me. You know who you are! Thank you. See you Saturday!

The floor!

So the floor isn’t done, but it’s done with phase one. The concrete is in with a few cool saw cuts. Next Talbott Builders will be back to finish the ceiling beams and Durie electric with the lights. We are able to start painting as well. And start to work to set up the bar. I don’t have a lot of photos of the completed phase one floor but here are a few more in process.

I shared this one before, but here it is. Freshly applied concrete.

And then once it was ready, hours and hours of using this machine and had troweling.

Finally this smooth! Then the next day they did cuts and now it’s been drying. It’s time for another photo :-)

After this side, they did the other side. They also had to do a new footer to the support beam that is on the other end. And an overlay by the bathrooms. Lastly it will all be stained and be a most wonderful place for dances. Alchemy Concrete has done a marvelous job! Can’t wait to show you more :-)
