Ryan and Lydia had such a sweet wedding. Unfortunately I didn’t get as many photos as I would have liked, but I have enough to share from the venue’s perspective…
They booked our Polyantha Rose Package which provides the venue space to you from 7am-midnight for one full day. Lydia and her maid of honor started the day early going to the farmers market and purchasing flowers around 7:00am, they then came to the Rose House and unloaded early, after which I believe they had their hair done and then returned to make bouquets and decorate.
They had a few more helpers trickle in as the morning went on and then left around 11:00 to get ready at the church. They did not have a DJ so the venue was quiet until they returned for cocktail hour. We do have speakers built into the ceiling of the main hall, although a DJ is nice to have, a playlist and someone to manage it does work out.
The cocktail hour included games and socializing, followed by a pasta buffet.
They cut the cake and served dessert and had a party after that!
In the kitchen we cleaned up while they danced and had fun, I am sorry I missed capturing any photos during that time. But I did sneak away towards the end for one photo of the newly weds before the night came to a close!
A good time was had by all!
